MICHELIN PRO 4 SERVICE COURSE COMPETITION 700x23C FOLD BLACK TYRE
Michelin tyres are divided into 3 distinct lines to meet consumer needs. COMPETITION LINEOur premium tyre offers the best performance for competition use. PERFORMANCE LINEThe most balanced performance for training use. ACCESS LINE For occasional use.
PRO4 Service Course tyre offers superior competition performance with greater grip, excellent puncture resistance and exceptional return.
More grip:Thanks to the Bi Compound technology the tyres offer lower rolling resistance, superior wear resistance and greater grip. The rubber compound at the centre of the tread gives greater rigidity and the compound on the lateral bands offers superior grip. The upper tread HD Compound provides excellent puncture protection.
More protection:High-density nylon ply providing high-level puncture protection.
RUBBERS Rubber's characteristics give the tyre different performances. Rubbers can be either Mono-Compound or Bi-Compound.
Invented by Michelin in 1995, this is a mix of two rubber compounds in a tread providing central rolling efficiency and lateral grip (e.g. MICHELIN Power Endurance which combines Grip Compound and X-Miles Compound).
CASING-REINFORCEMENTS A tyre’s casing is made up of threads, the thickness of which varies according to the tyre range, makes it robust, flexible, efficient and lightweight. The more threads there are, the finer they are, making the tyre lighter. On the contrary, the less threads there are, the bigger they are, making the tyre stronger. TPI (Threads Per Inch) refers to the density of threads per inch.
Anti-puncture level of protection: high-density nylon ply.
